I have had a lot of support and encouragement from friends and family especially my wife.
I started painting in watercolours and then oils. Health issues caused me to change to Acrylics and I have found the range of media suit my needs very well.
Having visited Provence I found myself painting in ever brighter colours which seem to work as well for Cornwall & Scotland! We also holiday in North Wales a lot. I enjoy the colour contrast and the mountains inspire me to using complex mixes of paint and other materials as you will see in my work.
More recently I have met several artists at Eccles Community Art Gallery who give a lot of time to help/teach others. Selling online was the next logical step.
When I started online I was advised not to be too serious ..enter Curly Bob. Some people may not "get" the idea of having a bear for a manager but on the other hand many do. Either way Curly Bob is here to stay on our voyage of discovery.
